Lighting sealing systems
Light is essential to see and be seen. This is why vehicle lighting is so important to the safety of everyone on the road.
The main material used in this type of part is EPDM vulcanized with peroxides, due to its better behavior against aging at high temperatures with low remaining deformation due to compression. This type of material requires post-curing in an oven, at a temperature and time according to the technical data sheet defined by the client.
All these requirements are essential to comply with the tightness requirements of these components.
Noise and vibration attenuation
Over the years, the reduction of noise and vibrations inside the vehicle has been a constant to improve the comfort of the occupants. In addition, due to environmental demands in large cities around the world, car manufacturers are focusing on minimizing external emissions of such noise and vibrations.
A vehicle is not conceived that does not take into account and prioritize these aspects.
The gusts of wind, the constant movements of the vehicles and the environmental conditions of their use, cause many of the elements that are part of the vehicle to become fatigued and their mechanical properties affected.
The use of rubber parts, as a connecting element between components of different materials (plastic-metal, metal-metal, plastic-plastic, etc.), helps to minimize these effects and therefore prolong the useful life of said components. .
Junta 3 collaborates in the design of molds for mold parts and manufactures components, which are installed in the aeration and defense systems of vehicles.
Due to the way these pieces work and the place where they are installed, the most widely used raw material is EPDM, although NR and CR are also common, with agents that reinforce their behavior in the face of environmental aggressions (weather shocks, UV rays, etc.).
